Our World Today

Table talk
Suddenly I'm engulfed by sorrow. The discussion at the lunch table is about the greed that drives the people in high powered positions to create a difficult life for the masses. My grandfather is mentioned and how he used to speak of the Illuminati, the order created eons ago that has grown into the puppet master. We are the puppets, ignorant of all that occurs and oblivious to the obvious.

Learning from the past
Although we've seen and heard of such horror and tragedy, it's as if we cannot contemplate that the people in powerful positions were far sighted enough to see the benefit of subtly ruling and manipulating our population. Thinking back to Hitler, the cold war, concentration camps, xenophobic attacks and apartheid... Why do we believe we've learnt from history when we didn't learn the first time, or the second or even the third.

Manipulation & media
Do we just believe that if there was a secret order with plans of manipulation that they would eventually be uncovered? If we rely on the media to uncover this, we are not betting on much. This is an institution that is run on the money they receive from advertisers, without whom a publication would not be possible. As the readership isn't large enough for controversial publications, advertisers wouldn't invest and the publication would disappear.  Another reason is censorship. Without it we might really be able to find out the truth and not what meets the governments news standards.

We are the puppets that help obscure this order behind a facade of TV programs, celebrities, scandals and tragedies that take the media by storm. We are preoccupied by this storm that they created and continue to manipulate. Their influence  does not control only a few aspects of our lives, it controls every single one. From our medication and finances, to food, water and education, their use of scare tactics have worked for many years but people are starting to seek alternative routes.

Educate yourself.
